Calling all handymen (and women)!

Bryan and I are getting our house ready for the market. A few of you mentioned that you're pretty good with a paint brush and/or other various tools. So I thought I'd put a shout out that we are now accepting volunteers. We have two bedrooms, a bathroom and a hallway to paint, and a few closet doors to put back on (took them off and have no idea how to put them back on). Also some other bathroom stuff -- flooring, shower and vanity replacement or painting. -- we're open for suggestions as to what exactly to do with that bathroom.

As I think about getting this stuff done, I'm feeling totally overwhelmed with four kids constantly tugging on my pant legs. So if anyone has some extra time and would like to help out, we would GREATLY appreciate it! If it can be coordinated, maybe we could make one big, fun weekend out of it! ;-)

We can definitely find time for friends. I could probably figure those closet doors out by the way, I've hung several doors in the past. Erin says she could help paint. Weekend is best for us too.

Michelle and I are in! We've done a fair amount of remodeling and she'd love to put her interior decorating skills to use. Unfortunately, parts of our next two weekends are committed. (Trinity School and moving Shane back home) After that we are free.

Awesome! Yes, I could REALLY use Michelle's decorating advice! Anytime she can get here to help select some things before we get started would be great. Let me know when she's feeling up to it.

I'd enjoy an evening of painting with you! Peter also said he'd come over and give you suggestions on your bathroom. He has become an expert tiler. You name the time. Wed. and Friday are out for me. Thanks so much for yesterday!! Emmet had a great time, as usual, and we finished (literally) 20 minutes before I had to go to work.

Of course we'll help when we can... which you know, may be pretty limited with everything going on in our lives... but we'll do what we can. Maybe it might even help to get the boys out of your hair for a day?

Hey everyone-
Thanks for being willing to lend a hand. We were thinking of starting painting maybe next weekend. Friday afternoon or evening we will get started - we could probably use some Friday help and then some Saturday help. Let us know which day works for you. Anyone interested in helping with the bathroom can come anytime to take a look... We'll be moving into an apartment, rental house, or maybe a tent. :)
