Preeclampsia, please pray

There seems to be concern that our daughter-in-law is developing preeclampsia. It's a condition of various and unknown causes that result in high blood pressure and protein in the urine. There is a possibility of kidney and liver damage and much more I'm afraid to say. We would appreciate your prayers. Michelle is going down tomorrow to help out and Kate will be evaluated tomorrow for the possibility of hospitalization.

Michelle has called and Kate seems to have stabilized. Her blood pressure is still high but has stopped rising. They did not admit her but will have her checked over the next few days to monitor. Thanks to all who have responded and prayed. Appreciate continued prayers!

Michelle called this AM and this was the first really good night of rest and nursing. Since birth, Kate has lost 20#. Most of that was water. She is feeling more like a normal human being today. I think grandma's presence helped ease some of their anxieties which helps loads!

Relieved! Glad Michelle is there. Happy for Kate, Aaron and Mack that their well-being is improving. Wishing I could be there. Wondering why we live in a geographically spread-out disconnected world. In some ways this is a very small world, in other ways, not so much.
