One of the things that I've come to appreciate about the Watershed community is that people are already planting those seeds in many different ways. I see a diverse group of people who are making what they do count. (That thought is from the Brian...

Profile Information

About Me:
Married to Joe (no he's not Joe Josephine) and have three awesome sons - Forrest, Mitchell and Reece. (And two cats... Miss Parker and Rogue.)
Location:
Traverse City, MI
When is your birthday? (month/day only)
March 18
I consider myself a(n)...
artist, musician, student, traveler, entreprenuer
My passions and gifts:
I love to engage people in an encounter through my art and music, anticipating that God will connect our stories and that people will go away with a greater awareness that He is present. I share my original songs, stories, poetry, music and art through solo acoustic concert experiences, seminars and other fun programs. I love touring and meeting new people. My latest favorite instrument is the mandolin. The guitar, piano, hammered and mountain dulcimers are a little jealous, but they still cooperate.

I am always looking for people to be involved! Think of anything an indie artist may need and that is what I am looking for. It is a volunteer kind of gig, but even if you are not up for that – votes of confidence, prayer and chocolate is always welcome.
Justice, Environmental, and/or Stewardship issues I am concerned about:
I am an advocate for Compassion International. Sponsor today and God will use you to change the world one child at a time... www.compassion.com

Interview - Watershed/Pub Theology came up.

JEFF: I'd like to hear about how you came to faith in Christ, and how you were called to a music ministry.

ANGELA: I’ve always believed in God and been cognizant of something more at work in and around me. What was lacking was the knowledge that God needs and wants to be a part of my life and actually loves me. I had a gnawing vacancy that I tried to fill with all kinds of things. In college, I hit bottom. I was raising my little boy by myself and making all kinds of choices that diminis… Continue

The Color of Contrast

On Friday, November 21st, Karla, Ruth, Erin and I got together to do ‘lectio divina’. Ruth had approached me after reading my article in The Banner and asked if I'd consider leading some of us in the process. I've been on the hunt for a lectio group but haven't been able to find exactl… Continue

The Great Northern Pike - A Drama in 600 Words

Joe and I were on our way back from Ann Arbor this weekend and passed a church that had a sign with this message... "Even Jesus had a fish story." It made me laugh out loud as I realized that I have a few myself. This is one I had blogged about a few years back and thought I'd share it with you. If you have a fish story... feel free to contribute!

My Cup of Tea

There is a legend that says the Chinese Emperor Shen Nung, the Divine Cultivator, discovered tea accidentally when he was boiling water under the shade of a wild tea tree. A few of the leaves dropped into his pot, tinting the water and he drank the resulting infusion. Immediately… Continue

Hi Angela, Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. It has been a long week. I am now on bedrest due to my blood pressure being high. Baby and I are still doing great tho. Peter and I live in between Chums corners and Interlochen corners. We are accross the street from the Apple Fence Co, which is on US-31. You would make a right onto Pine Tree Road if you were coming from Chums. Then you would take the next left, which is Birmingham Lane. There is a sign that says Hampton Manor. Once you come to the stop sign, take a left and you will be on Hampton Cirlce. We are the 4th house on the left. 7686 Hampton Circle is our address. Peter can be a picky eater, but if I make it for him, he ends up eating it, or he just goes hungry! The only thing he doesnt care for is rice. I will eat about anything. Thank you so much for setting this up. It will be one less thing on my mind to worry about. Let me know if you need anymore infomation.

Thanks again...I DANCE.....my parents used to rock in their days (I think they still do coz they're in the 60s/50s)... so I guess I got a lot of that from them...but I Love to dance so I'd say both.I have to say I have not been able to do much in the dance area whilst in Rome maybe just choreograph an African worship dance at church last year round about this time....I think my school schedule has been absolutely crazy and giving me no room to be creative and choreograph more dances...oh well, hopefully there'll be more dancing in the future.... Your work in art is absolutely AMAZING!! Blessings.
