- About Me:
- I've been married for a year and a half to a vertically challenged sweetheart named Jody. We met at the Old Town Playhouse in 2004, during Assassins. I was a techie, he was Lee Harvey Oswald... need I say more?
I currently work at the Horizon Cinemas as a staff leader. I aspire to greater things, but for now, it's a really fun job with a lot of cool people.
I am fascinated and obsessed with presidential assassins. Hey, everyone has their hobbies! Also, I usually spend my time drawing :)
I got horrible grades in school, but still managed to earn the respect of most of my teachers. (that's really the easiest way to describe me).
In college, I discovered sociology, which I had unknowingly been studying for years in my free time. (Especially Modern Social Problems). Whatever I do in the future, as a career or just as a volunteer, I'm sure that it will be very much related to the issues I studied in those classes.

- Justice, Environmental, and/or Stewardship issues I am concerned about:
- Social inequality- especially the gap (or should I say canyon) between those at the top and pretty much everyone else is my main concern. There are so many levels and so many misconceptions, it's a lot more complicated than most realize. Issues this big are especially misunderstood because of the sheer size of the problem and the way it ties in with so many other social issues.
The issue that can really get my blood boiling is that of the quality (lack there of) of sex education in this country. So much pain and suffering could be avoided if people had the right information given to them.
I would like to see more fuel efficient vehicles on the road. I'm fairly certain no one really needs a Lincoln Navigator. (6 mpg in the city. Really.) I would also like to see recycling become more accessible. Why doesn't a state as big as Texas have recycling for cans and bottles like we do?
Just a thought.

Job Hunting
I've taken the first step towards finding a new job - I've decided that I need one! A major step, however, it's only the tip of a very large iceberg. It used to be easier... the only standards I had were "no fast food" and "not meijer." Now I feel like I have to exceed my previous work with something even better. This means resumes and cover letters, and a lot less options. The fact that I finished a resume is an accomplishment, but will it even get me anywhere? I don't know.
